One Day at a Time
For just under one month, my PC has been in the hands of law enforcement and I have been aware of the new Indiana law which restricts my internet usage. Using borrowed PC's, I have done my best to get into compliance with the new law. But always in the back of my mind is the fact that in times past Parke County has put me in jail and prison when I committed no crime! Putting myself into compliance now with a law I did not even know existed is certainly no assurance they won't lock me up again. I am still God's "foreign missionary," willing to go wherever He wills me to go. He knows my preference now is to serve freely in and around Parke County. Nonetheless, not my will but His be done!
However, I am claiming a victory! I believe God is now answering my prayer according to the instructions He gave to me: 1st Peter 3: 16. I am waiting upon the Lord even as I go on about my business of serving and helping my "widows and orphans." (James 1:27.) And, as I believe the Lord intends it, this has kept me out of my own little rented house for much of the past two weeks. This helps me to "be anxious for nothing!"
I covet the prayers in agreement from my friends and relatives who are in Christ Jesus!
